Has anybody seen Martha Marcy May Marlene? I want to have some sort of discussion about it, but I don't know who to talk to. I figure the cultured babes of The Pit are the best place to turn to in situations like this. I miss having conversations about things that make me feel fulfilled. Everyone I try to talk to about these things just looks at me with blank stares or tells me I "sound like a pretentious asshole" when I use words like juxtaposition.

Is that the one with the other Olsen sister? I definitely wanted to see it, but haven't got around to it yet.

I have that movie now. Need to get on it then let ya know how it was.
Saw Skyfall a few weeks ago and WHOA COOL. I think this one is a great way to drawfans of more recent (Brosnan/Craig) Bond flicks to old school Connery Bond, if they haven't been into them already. I did hear on the radio some time back that Daniel Craig is already kinda done with being Bond. I say NAY, SIR. I really like him and would love to see at least one more movie with him.

i went to see les mis a few days ago...i liked it, but probably mostly because i love les mis so much. the actors did better singing than i thought they would, though. eddie redmayne has a really kickass voice, though, and the kid who played gavroche was spot on. and i was super excited to see that samantha barks got to be eponine in the movie. she's one of my favorite eponines.

Silver Linings Playbook takes a lot to watch, but it's worth it.

I really want to see Silver Linings Playbook but I don't get out to the actual movie theaters that often and sometimes have difficulty finding decent copies. Help?
I still haven't seen Les Mis and now Movie 43 aaaand Gangster Squad are coming out so if I drag my boyfriend to the movies I'll have to pretend a few of those don't exist. Boo.

Thanks to a bajillion .gifs on tumblr and the like, I've decided I seriously love Jennifer Lawrence. She's freaking hilarious, hot, and super talented...so I really need to see SLP. Buuuut my mom just sent me and the bf a giftcard to the movies (in addition to a chili's giftcard which I'm not so fond of, but Mike likes it there) provided that we see Les Mis. Said boyfriend has always known of this deal and even approved it...until yesterday when I actually got the giftcard and in return got a lot of shit. So maaaaybe I'll just see Les Mis and SLP by myself...but then how do I see Gangster Squad? Dilemmas. Too many girl crushes, only so much money on the giftcards.
