^ Michelle always says "nobody cheers for Columbus." I really believe those days are numbered.

Haha, she's correct to an extent. If Columbus can put a winning product on the ice, the fans will follow. When they made the playoffs, the whole final month and home games for the playoffs were sold out. Columbus actually is a really good sports town, they just expect a winning team.

Tonight's game may be the most dominant game I've seen Montreal play

I'm only posting because the Bruins are in 1st place over the Canadiens. I could have sworn someone here was a Habs fan. Mike, I hope this Boo-urns.

^that's just technical. We have the same amount of points right now. Boston has the tougher schedule for their last four games, facing Washington, t-bay and potential first round match-up Ottawa. The only challenge Montreal reallyu has is the maple queefs on Saturday. Don't count your chickens, Adam. You might Russell some feathers

I haven't seen a lot of them this year, due to them still being a Western Conference team/ the shortened season where West isn't facing East. But I have seen a few highlights where Bobrovsky lit the opposing team up. Not sure how long he'll be around in C-bus, but if they make the playoffs, I think they upset a team or two. Long term though, if they build a solid defence around them, they could be good for a few years. Also, if you're gonna start talking hockey to me, I have to stop and brag about Montreal. 2/3 through the season and they are looking like cup contenders. With not a lot of injuries this season, my bleu, blanc et rouge are looking awesome and if Therrien doesn't win coach of the year, I'd be very surprised. LOVE that the second go-around guys are playing so well for us (Ryder and Frankie Boo, we'll see how it goes with Halps). That being said, though, I'm a little worried about Carey... I will defend the kid any day of the week, and I think he's still one of the best in the league, but this season I don't feel as confident in him when I'm watching him in net.Anyway, I'm going to Montreal April 9th to see the Habitants face the Caps, and unless Washington turns it around in the week or two until then, I am confident that I will be happy with the outcome of the game. tl;dr to answer your question: yes, and go habs go!
Alright, John. Who ya got for round 1? Here's my picks:
EAST PIT-NYI: Pens in 5 - Pittsburgh is too good to let this go very far. I wanna say they'll sweep, but Tavares and Moulson et al can hopefully scrounge up one win.
WAS-NYR: Caps in 6 - Washington finished strong this season, and Ovechkin's resurgence is behind it. I think this could go 7, but we'll see what happens.
BOS-TOR: the Queefs in 6 - This is the battle of the two evils. I love the fact that people around here aren't expecting much from Toronto, but I think everyone won't be expecting much, including the Bruins. Also, it fits into my dream...
MTL-OTT: the crap do ya think? Habs in...5? I know this is idealistic, but 80% of the time, I'm an idealistic Habs fan. With the Sens key players returning for the playoffs, this could be trouble, but Carey has a good track record against Ottawa
WEST CHI-MIN: Hawks in 4 - Chicago will dominate. ANA-DET: Ducks in 6 - Go Saku VAN-SJ: Van in 7 - Modern classic match-up. Gotta go for Canada. But if cousin Brent wins, I'll be happy too STL-LA: Blues in 6 - I used to love the Blues (Brett Hull era Blues). I miss Halak. Go Blues

I got all top seeds in the east.
For the west, I'll take the Hawks in 6, actually. I think if any team can surprise them, it's Minnesota. I agree with you and the Ducks. I think that one may go 7. Detroit's lucky they survived after blowing a 4-1 lead IN THE 3RD FUCKING PERIOD! I have faith in Babcock and the vets to not let that happen again. VAN-SJ: I'll actually go Sharks in 7 here. Something about that core makes me have a lot of trust in them. Kind of like Getzlaf, Ryan and Saku in Anaheim. STL-LA: Also taking Blues. Kings haven't impressed me very much this year. Don't think they have it in them again. Also, fuck Jeff Carter.

My favorite thing to remember right now is that Detroit traded a first round pick to Tampa for Kyle Quincey. That pick turned into Andrei Vasilevsky. S. M. G. D. M. F. H.
