I lost like eight pounds in the matter of a week and a half. I haven't lost anything in the past week or so, so I gotta stop being extremely lazy and get my dumb ass back to the gym.
Those eight pounds pretty much melted because I stopped eating so much during the day. Results also included fitting into jeans I couldn't wear at the beginning of the summer. Yay!
I'll tell you all...I'm sitting at 154. Let's see if I can make it to 150 when school starts up in three weeks.

Attention meatheads. Just because you can benchpress a lot of weight as your max rep doesnt mean you have a good concept or measure of upper body strength.
That, and fussing so much about your diet and exercise regiment while belittling other, less RIIIIIIIPPED dudes in the gym is kinda gay.

I just got home from camping for 5 days and am fairly certain I gained no less than 5 pounds eating burgers, chips, and sandwiches whenever possible. I feel bloated from beer and a 10-mile hike is in order.

I've lost a little more than 20 pounds since April 1st. The first 15 pounds of that were actually in the first month. I used to hate the idea of dieting and exercising, but I realized it's not as hard as I make it out to be in my head. I joined the gym this summer, so I'm sure I've lost more than 5 pounds the past few months, I've just put on some muscle weight. I'm still not done getting into shape, I still want to shed another 15 pounds. I slip up every now and then, but I eventually get back on track when I remember how much progress I've made and how happy it's making me. Yay positivity!

has anyone seen Crazy, Stupid Love? I want to be able to do the handstand push ups that Gosling does in it. I've built up muscles in my shoulders lately, maybe once I'm a little more co-ordinated, I'll be able to.

Four pounds. That's all I need to drop is four more pounds. Then I'll be back at the same weight I was in November 2006.
WOO!

I'm almost at a total of 30 pounds lost. I get so excited when I notice differences. Only downside? I keep having to get new clothes... Apparently my sister thinks I have an eating disorder, though. I never really 'announced' it to my family that I was planning on losing weight, I just went ahead and did it, but they've been noticing obviously. My sister just assumes that I've stopped eating... My best friend seems to think that's how I've been losing weight, too... does no one think I've been doing this the healthy way? Yeesh.

Man FUCK ab workouts. Not worth it. I am tiny. If someone is gonna punch me down there I'm gonna be hurting no matter how much muscle I have.

^^ I feel ya, girly. My younger sister feels like I rub it in her face because "I'm skinny" now. It's not my fault she is okay with being over 300 pounds. And my dad..I don't even know what his deal is. In fact, in the past few months, my dad has actually been buying more food. I don't know if he's secretly hoping I'll eat it or if he's just decided to feel bad for himself and eat an entire bag of chips in one sitting, then tell me "fuck you" to my face because I politely decline his offer for snacks (and he's done this on more than on occasion). My mom's been noticing how much more my dad eats and while she's getting fed up with it, she hasn't said anything because God fucking forbid you tell my dad "how to live his life". He himself is pushing 300 lbs and there is a history of heart conditions in his family...yet he could give two shits. Way to go, dad. It really upsets me when I see how much he eats. Not to mention, how much his eating habit costs. I was guaranteed three semesters of tuition, and now I wonder why I'll have to cover the last semester myself. Sigh.
Okay, nicer things... Did legit yoga for the first time yesterday (legit as in I didn't watch a crappy DVD). Totally didn't relax me in the slightest and I'm suuper sore. Also, I don't recommend doing yoga the same day you've done a leg work out. Just ow.
Oh, and I'm super proud of you, Kirstin! Keep it up! I'll catch up to you eventually!

I...guess this goes here? It's about hair health...
Anyway, I dyed my hair about 3 - 4 weeks ago and since then it's thinned out considerably. Probably by almost half. I mean, I had tons of thick hair, so it still looks normals, but it's slightly alarming. What can I eat/put on it that will hopefully keep more from falling out?

One of my friends introduced me to this cool thing called Fitocracy. It's a tracking website that allows you to enter your physical activity during the day, and you get points for that activity. You'll level up as you get more points and there are even quests for you to accomplish and get achievements. You can even search a work-out and it'll give you a description of what that work-out is. It's pretty nifty. It's fun because suddenly, my friend and I have turned everything into a competition. She's way ahead of me now, but if I actually get off my ass a little more, I can totally outdo her in no time.
If anyone is interested in playing, let me know. It's still in Beta version, so you'd need an invite. Let me know and I'll send you one.
